A role for the people who write

Writing the content of a sitemap and changing the sitemap itself are two different jobs, but until now they shared one set of access rights: a copywriter came in either as an editor, free to move and delete pages, or as a commenter, unable to touch a line of content.

Team projects now have a role that sits between the two: Copywriter. It keeps commenting, adds the content and leaves the structure alone.

• Add, edit and delete content in pages and blocks
• Add, edit and delete SEO tags in SEO mode
• No edits to pages on the artboard, no project settings

The member list now reads Viewer, Commenter, Copywriter and Editor. Only the labels changed — everyone keeps the rights they had.

Open Share, go to Access and pick Copywriter next to a project member. The role is available in projects on the Team plan.
