This year wasn’t the easiest one. We spent a lot of time balancing between fixing old things, improving performance, and still shipping new features. Even so, by the end of 2025, Octopus reached 220 000 users— 50,000 new users in a single year 🎉. This year you created more than 260 000 projects, and that’s honestly pretty amazing!
Here are some updates that defined the year:
Publish wizard
We started the year by moving closer to published websites. The Publish wizard lets you customize themes, colors, fonts, and backgrounds, making sitemaps feel more like real sites.

Performance Upgrade
Spring was all about stability. We shipped a big infrastructure update to make Octopus faster, more secure, and ready for what’s next.
Multiselect & Toolbar Redesign
Working with bigger projects got easier. You can now select multiple pages with a simple drag, and we also started cleaning up and standardizing the UI.

Artboard comments
Comments moved right onto the artboard. This makes discussions more visual and a lot easier when working with teammates, clients, or guests.

YouTube Channel
We finally launched our YouTube channel with short tutorials and onboarding videos covering the most common Octopus use cases.

SEO Mode
SEO Mode was built based on your feedback. It lets you see, edit, and export all SEO tags in one clear view.

Figma Export Hit 13,000 Users
Our Figma plugin reached a big milestone and has already been used by more than 13,000 people.
New Dashboard
In November, we rolled out a new dashboard. It’s not just a visual update — the whole back office was rebuilt to make future updates easier and faster.

Bold theme
We also released the Bold theme — higher contrast, better readability, and available on all plans.

AI Assistant
We quietly launched our AI Assistant in beta. It’s still early, but it already helps with routine actions and quick inspiration.

Export to XLS
We closed the year by shipping one of the most requested features: export everything to XLS in a clean, familiar spreadsheet format.

Thank You
2025 was a year of solid progress and important groundwork. We often chose to fix and improve what already existed instead of chasing flashy features — and we’re confident that was the right call.
In 2026, we’ll focus even more on content planning, collaboration, and AI-powered workflows, guided by what you’ve been voting for on our public roadmap.
Thanks for being with us!
See you in 2026 👋
